Installations

Gas-free

The Noorderkwartier building is gas-free.
The hot water supply and heating enter the home via "district heating". You pay an advance amount per month to De Key for this. De Key checks usage annually and charges on the basis of actual costs. You can control the heat in your home with a room thermostat. The filter is replaced once a year. De Key outsources this to an installation company.
There is a connection for an electric hot plate with a normal socket (no perilex).

Cold water

For the supply of water, you enter into a contract with Waternet yourself. You can read the water usage from the meter in the home.

Solar panels and electricity

There are solar panels on the roof of Noorderkwartier. The generated electricity is used for general facilities such as lighting and the elevator. As a resident, you benefit from this, because you pay less for electricity for general areas.
You must enter into a contract with an energy supplier for the electricity in your home.
Check out the video below, about your fuse cabinet.

Ventilation

There is an installation for mechanical ventilation in your home. Ventilating yourself is still necessary.
An Atag exhaust hood has been installed in your home. This is a re-circulation hood. As a resident you must replace the carbon filter at least once a year.
