Lieven de Key has drawn up a few house rules to make sure everyone has a nice living environment. The most important rules are written down below.
Smoking
You are not allowed to smoke in the common areas inside the building. You can smoke in your own room, outside the building or on the balcony.
Noise
The quiet hours are between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. This means no loud music and loud conversations. If you have guests leaving during this time period ask them to leave quietly.
Pets
You are not allowed to have any pets.
Painting and wallpapering
You are allowed to paint and wallpaper the walls in your own room. Please note that red, black, purple and dark blue are not overpaintable in one go, so when you leave you will have to paint the walls white again when using such dark colours.
